研究:

主要研究主題在探討奈米尺度超薄膜結構之材料性質,包含厚度僅為幾原子層之超薄膜、合金膜、雙層膜及多層膜;以各種樣品製備技術製作所需各式樣品,如分子束磊晶MBE離子濺鍍與化學電鍍;並結合材料特性分析技術,如表面磁光科爾效應SMOKE、歐傑電子能譜術AES、低能量電子繞射LEED、退吸附質譜分析、掃瞄穿隧電子顯微鏡STM;兼顧基礎研究與工業應用方向,深入瞭解奈米尺度超薄膜結構之磁、光、電、化學等特殊性質,以及自旋電子元件結構介面機制特性研究。目前主要研究方向為:

(一)  超薄膜物性研究:研究金屬半導體介面磁性Co/Ge等、超薄半導體膜(Ge/CuSi/Cu等、超薄氧化物及垂直異向性高密度記錄材料之製作與特殊物性探討。

(二)  低維度磁性系統:研究在等階梯形基材上成長之低維度磁性樣品,及相關之量子點與奈米線之物性探討。

(三)  奈米級薄膜結構研究:以化學電鍍與離子濺鍍成長奈米級薄膜結構,並以磁光科爾效應與掃瞄穿隧電子顯微鏡等研究樣品之磁性與結構特性。
